The Christmas and New Year’s Eve tradition at the five-star Dusit Thani Pattaya provided their western guests the opportunity to celebrate both occasions with their families, loved ones and Thai friends as well.
Christmas Eve featured a magic show and acrobats from Kenya, all of which was performed for guests at The Point, the resort’s extended terrace overlooking Pattaya Bay.
The New Year’s Eve countdown was themed Hollywood Night. Tina Turner and Elvis Presley impersonators entertained some 500 revelers as they welcomed 2012 at the Napalai Ballroom.
Guests also enjoyed a buffet, and a dance extravaganza by the Dusit Thani’s own performers, The Honeybees, doing their rendition of Lady Marmalade from Moulin Rouge, as well as All that Jazz and Black or White–a tribute to Michael Jackson.
Topping each event were drawings for prizes, including a two-night stay in Royal Princess Chiang Mai and a two-night stay in dusitD2 Chiang Mai–including round-trip air courtesy of Thai Airways.
